I just got one and on mine the serial # is on the bottom of the 1490t just below the Garmin Nuvi logo on the front of the device. Torrent antares microphone modeler vst. Sadly, my vivo was stolen at JFK TSA this afternoon and after spending 90 mins with security/TSA I had to walk away and catch my flight.
That said, does anyone know how to contact Garmin to report that it was stolen..or is this something that I can do on the app? I guess I'm looking to remotely delete my info on it if that possible. I'm also curious to know if the usage will show up on the garmin connect website if it's being used.
Its a bummer..I've only had it for just over a year..and I loved it.
Time to save for another one.
