Dodge Caravan Dvd System
We bought this van a couple of weeks ago. Is the 'Crew' trim level. second from the top, I think. It's got a lot of bells and whistles but no rear screens for the kids to watch videos. It was a demo.
The head unit is capable of playing DVDs (when the car is in park). There's an overhead console thing that runs the length of the cabin. There are four drop-down storage compartments in that overhead console, one or two of which would have been LCD screens for viewing DVDs had we gotten that option.
My question is this: Is it likely that the wiring for A/V playback on a rear screen is already in place? I.e is it possible to add screens in the back now, after the fact, and get all the components talking to each other? During the sales process, we saw another Caravan that had an A/V hookup in the back too. What are the odds something like that could be added?
Appreciate any insight that can be offered.
