    Fixed an issue where, in very rare cases, unexpected delays in the initialization of a frame link module (FLM) during the update of FLM firmware could cause the loss of HPE Synergy Image Streamer redundancy. When this issue occurs the health status of HPE Synergy Image Streamers is degraded which can prevent the successful firmware update of other frame link modules in the affected Logical Enclosure (LE). Although extremely unlikely, this can also potentially result in compute module(s) in the affected LE losing access to their boot image being hosted by the impacted HPE Synergy Image Streamers.

IF ‘HPE Synergy 10Gb Interconnect Link Module (10Gb ILM)’ downlink ports connected via CXP-AOC cables do not come up and/or remain “unlinked” after a ‘Logical Interconnect’ firmware update in a multi-enclosure Virtual Connect configuration, THEN perform a ‘Reset’ of 10Gb ILM from HPE Synergy Composer to recover.

This SPP enables key new security features offered in the HPE Synergy Composer 4.10.01 and HPE Synergy Image Streamer 4.10.03. Please see the Enhancements or Release Notes tab for a sample list of key features for this release.

    Fixed an issue where, in very rare cases, unexpected delays in the initialization of a frame link module (FLM) during the update of FLM firmware could cause the loss of HPE Synergy Image Streamer redundancy. When this issue occurs the health status of HPE Synergy Image Streamers is degraded which can prevent the successful firmware update of other frame link modules in the affected Logical Enclosure (LE). Although extremely unlikely, this can also potentially result in compute module(s) in the affected LE losing access to their boot image being hosted by the impacted HPE Synergy Image Streamers.
