A Different Freeze Problem on Desmume about Pokemon Soul Silver. Well, i got an. Game screen frozes and i can only press the touchscreen scheck button on the right corner. When I saw that Black Patch I thought it was some kinda quest then I went to talk to someone and it froze. I talked to this guy. Mar 11, 2013 My heart gold rom keeps freezing and i am stuck since? Whenever i walk into any grass or heal my pokemon, my rom will freeze.I am using DesMuMe and i tried many ways to resolve this but failed. Whenever i do something the game will freeze.Someone please Help!

Xeo rates this game: 5/5Pokemon Goldene Edition (HeartGold) is the german release of the pokemon game HeartGold. The popular Golden edition was remade into a DS version, and has been released with new graphics, pokemon, and challenges.
Pokemon is an RPG game where the objective of the trainer is to catch powerful 'Pocket Monsters', i.e. Pokemon, to battle and eventually become the pokemon master. Along the way they have to foil the plans of evil organizations such as Team Rocket, and train their Pokemon to become the very best.
HeartGold includes two regions, version exclusive pokemon, the legendary pokemon Ho-Oh (picture on box art), and also the, as of present, exclusive follow me feature- the lead pokemon on your team follows you outside its pokeball! (As of writing, this hasn't been implemented in any other pokemon game except Pokemon Yellow).

Brendoge rates this game: 4/5Before you get your hands on Pokemon Black & White, revisit the retro game Gold with Pokemon Heart Gold. This remade version has a lot more updated features to it, so your not playing the same game with just better graphics. Some new features include having your 1st party pokemon that walks with you everywhere.
Heart Gold is a challenging game but you'll easily get the hang of it in no time. I would suggest getting this game because it has a big change from it's older self, Pokemon Pearl and Diamond. Enjoy taking your pokemon everywhere around Johto and the Kanto regions, try to catch them all Poke'Mon! I recommend it to anyone!
it is to bad that this version of Pokemon is having troubles.
Textures will go terrible but at least you can save and start the emulator over.
But you still have those random freezes so you have to save often and that kind of gets annoying i wish someone would have fixed this game.
So weird that this game cause so much problem but not Pokemon white 2 the newer game. Because that game runs so fine.
I just giving it a low rating because of the problem that accures.
Pokémon HeartGold & SoulSilver are remakes of the original Gold & Silver games released in 1999 with further aspects which were introduced in Crystal in 2000.
As these games are remakes of Gold & Silver, they will feature both Johto & Kanto and follow the storyline of you as a new trainer, going through the gyms of Johto and Kanto, and winding up needing to thwart a Team Rocket plot to takeover the world with their Pokémon.
Even though it will follow closely on the basics of Pokémon Gold & Silver, there are a variety of new features brought into these remakes. Firstly, all the game mechanics are brought up to the 4th generation standards. Second, one of the major new features is that you can have any Pokémon follow you in the games. This way, you can truely personalise your experience. In addition to this, it also includes many aspects from the game Pokémon Crystal such as the Suicune Storyline.
HeartGold & SoulSilver feature a variety of special areas and Pokémon activated by special event Pokémon including access to the Sinjoh Ruins and a special event in Ilex Forest featuring Celebi.
SushiBrawl rates this game: 5/5The second generation of pokemon was my favorite and to see it remade is just awesome. This game is a remake of the original Gold version on the Gameboy Color. You play in the region of Johto and even eventually make it to Kanto. This game has improved graphics, gameplay, and all that generation 4 has to offer. It also features much more such as new sidequests, gym leader rematches, and more. So if you enjoyed the original, I highly recommend this game.
Doesn't seem to work, the character sprite (and others) will sometimes suddenly become black & grey boxes and the game will subsequently freeze to a black screen. Seems to happen at random but too frequently to make any progress and trust to saves.
